An afternoon with the bees

Have you ever wondered about what goes on inside a beehive?

Accompanied by an experienced beekeeper, this is a unique opportunity to visit an apiary, learn about the life and work of honey bees and explore inside their world.

There is no charge for these opportunities but numbers are strictly limited to 20 people per afternoon and prior booking is essential.

All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Protective clothing will be provided but each participant must bring their own pair of wellingtons.

Due to the restrictions of protective clothing we cannot accommodate people less than 1metre 25cms (4ft 1") tall in the active part of the apiary.
