Bee Candy

Bee candy can be used to feed your bee's in late Winter/ early Spring - Tradition dictates that the bee's should receive a block of Candy for Christmas Day to say thank you

Ingredients

2 kilos Granulated Sugar

450 mls water

1 level tsp cream of tartar

Method

Bring to the boil the water in large pan.

Add sugar slowly with the cream of tartar.

Bring the mixture back to the boil and keep boiling for half a minute.

Leave to cool and when cloudiness appears, stir vigorously and pour into containers,- ie - ice cream tubs, before it becomes too stiff
